Sponsorship Opportunities

The purpose of sponsorships is to provide a way for the Children's Trust to partner with child-serving agencies as they reach out and engage the community in ways that benefit the children and families of Alachua County.

Some types of community-based events that may be sponsored include: service/cultural fairs, special needs resource events, health education events, educational events, school readiness events, and conferences. Other sponsorships will also be considered.

Funding Procedure & Children's Trust Logo Guidelines

Sponsorship requests are reviewed by the Executive Director or their designee. The Executive Director or designee will consider whether the proposal meets the goals and objectives stated by the Trust, whether the event activities address a community need, and whether the costs are commensurate with the impact and reach proposed by the Agency. The Executive Director may consider other criteria in making a recommendation for funding so long as the criteria is explicitly stated in the recommendation.

If approved, by the Executive Director, the request and backup are provided to the CTAC Finance Department for processing. Checks will be mailed to your organization. Agencies not recommended for funding shall be notified in writing by the Executive Director or their designee.

To ensure consistent brand messaging, the Children's Trust requires that the applicant use CTAC’s logo in print materials, signage, online and relevant event messaging. This can include website logo placement, press releases and social media. Use the horizontal logo only in instances where there is minimal vertical space and the primary stacked logo will not fit properly. For logo guidelines please visit: www.childrenstrustofalachuacounty.us/communications/page/logo-use. If you have further questions about the logo, please email:  ecayson@childrenstrustofalachuacounty.us or call Elizabeth Cayson at 352-374-1832.

The Children’s Trust reserves the right to deny any requests for funds. Potential applicants are encouraged to consult with designated staff for additional information prior to submitting application.
