Cultural Arts Coalition - Summer 2023

The Environmental Ambassadors 5-week summer program teaches high school youth job skills and climate awareness through collaboration with community agencies and individuals. Teens between the ages of 15 and 18 years of age meet four days a week to learn about the environment, water, energy, food, leadership, making decisions about the environment, and working with younger students to teach some basic ways to protect the environment. The youth visit waste treatment, recycling, and energy production facilities tour nearby lakes and rivers, and meet with city, county, and state officials.
