Keturah Bailey Acevedo
Keturah Bailey Acevedo serves as Executive Assistant and Clerk of the Trust for the Children’s Trust of Alachua County, bringing over 14 years of experience in administrative support, leadership, project management, and community engagement. Known for her strategic insight and personable style, she ensures smooth board operations and supports initiatives that uplift children and families across the county.
A native of St. Croix, U.S. Virgin Islands who grew up in Gainesville, Keturah holds a B.A. in Film Production with a minor in African American Studies from the University of Central Florida. She is fluent in professional Spanish and certified in CPR/AED/First Aid, HIPAA compliance, and organizational leadership.
A published poet, performing artist, and lifelong student of African Diasporic culture, Keturah brings both excellence and authenticity to every space she enters. She has held multiple leadership roles in Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc., including Chapter President, and serves on several nonprofit boards dedicated to equity, culture, and education.
Keturah is the wife of Winoc Acevedo and the proud mother of Blessing, Honor, Merit, and Destah’ni. At the Trust, she combines deep community ties with organizational know-how — helping turn vision into action, one well-coordinated step at a time.
