Kirsten Rabin joined the Children's Trust in December 2023. She previously held communications roles at the University of Florida's Institute of Food and Agricultural Sciences and the City of Jacksonville, but her career began in journalism. This is what first brought her to Gainesville in 2014, with a design and editing position at the New York Times Editing Center.
Kirsten was born in Louisiana and also spent time growing up in Illinois and Texas. She returned to her home state to obtain a bachelor of arts degree from LSU in mass communication. Kirsten met her husband in Gainesville and they share a home with two border collies.
